Golf: The British Open
Last year’s European No 1 Robert Karlsson will miss next week’s Open Championship because of his left eye problem.

Serena Williams huffed and puffed her way into the second round of the French Open on Tuesday, ending a run of four straight defeats in the process.

Belmont Stakes
